LAT 120: Apuleius

Course Description: We will read selections from Metamorphoses/The Golden Ass by Apuleius, including the insert tale of Cupid and Psyche, and will examine the cultural context of the text, i.e. the Greco-Roman literary, philosophical, and religious practices of the Imperial period.

Prerequisite: Latin 100 or consent of instructor.
GE credit (Old): Arts & Humanities.

Format: Lecture/Discussion - 3 hours; Term Paper. – REMOTE
